The King of Soho London Dry Gin takes its name from the entrepreneur Paul
Raymond, who opened the first official strip club in London in 1958.The Thames
distillery produces The King of Soho London Dry Gin. At first this gin was only
sold in bars and in selected shops via Hi-Spirits. There are 12 botanicals used
in the production. It is distilled in 2 copper stills.
Not only the content of the bottle is convincing, but also the design is
something very special. The blue bottle shows a man in a red velvet coat with
hunting symbols (foxtail, horn, bottle). This is also a tribute to the eponym
Paul Raymond, who grew up in London's Soho district, which used to be a popular
hunting ground.
