Tomatin Cu Bocan is a Highland single malt whisky from the Highland distillery
Tomatin. The single malt is made from slightly smoky barley malt and distilled
in limited batches during the winter months.
Each of the bottlings: Signature, Creation #1, Creation #2, Creation #3,
Creation #4, Creation #5 and Creation #6 is a unique experience of smoky
finesse. To bring out these exceptional flavors in the whisky, each bottling of
Cu Bocan is matured in different barrel combinations.
Creation #6 is best described with the words RUM + RAISIN. This unique blend
combines the rich influences of Pedro Ximenez casks and Jamaican rum casks with
our signature smoky spirit. The result is an incomparable taste experience that
captivates with its complex and deep aromas.
During maturation in Pedro Ximenez and Jamaican rum casks, aromas develop that
are reminiscent of roasted Jamaican ginger cake, bonfire toffee, spiced plum
jam, amaretto cherries and Daim Bar.
