Gran Coronas is a high-quality wine made from the two noble grape varieties
Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Miguel A.
Torres began cultivating the originally French Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety
in Penedes, Spain, which was considered a visionary step at the time. Through
his innovative strength, he created the basis for a wine that is now regarded as
a trademark for first-class Reserva wines in the region.

The production process of Gran Corona is characterized by care and precision.
The mash first ferments for 7 to 8 days in modern stainless steel tanks, whereby
the fermentation temperature is kept constant between 28 and 29 °C and
continuously monitored. This controlled fermentation allows the intense aromas
and deep color of the wine to be optimally extracted while maintaining its
structure and balance.



Thanks to the harmonious combination of the two grape varieties and the careful
vinification, the Gran Coronas embodies elegance, strength and an unmistakable
personality that makes it a flagship of Torres wines.
