The Tres Hombres Edition 49 La Palma Cana Pura 2022 was created in the renowned
Aldea distillery on La Palma. After being distilled from freshly pressed sugar
cane juice, this rum first underwent a 5-month maturation phase on land. It was
then matured for a further 6 months in selected former Palo Cortado and Moscatel
barrels on board the Tres Hombres on the high seas. This unusual method of
maturing on a cargo ship gives the rum a distinctive aroma and flavor.

The owners of Tres Hombres are committed to the principle of "fair transport",
in which the rum is transported emission-free and traditionally by sailing ship.
The company uses this crossing not only for transportation, but also
specifically for the additional maturation of its high-quality distillates,
which gives the Tres Hombres Edition 49 La Palma Cana Pura 2022 its exceptional
profile.
