The country of Cork is located on the southern coast of Ireland. There is also
the small town of Skibbereen with the river Ilen.In 2007, three good friends
joined forces and built the West Cork Distillery - a small independent whiskey
distillery.

As usual with other West Cork bottlings, this whiskey is also distilled three
times.

To create a better effect between the copper, the pot stills and of course the
rising steam, the stills of West Cork are only half filled.

The West Cork Irish IPA CASK FINISH Irish blended whiskey matures in first-fill
bourbon barrels and gets a very special finish in so-called IPA barrels.

These beer barrels come from the Black's brewery in Kinsale and give the whiskey
an exceptional taste, as well as strong flavors.
