The Wolfburn Morven is probably the third and final bottling of the Core series.
Morven is an elevation in Caithness and is known for its high occurrence of
peat.
In the years 1821-1870, the Wolfburn distillery sourced most of its peat from
the 706 meter high Morven.
Premium barley is used in the production process. After a 75-hour fermentation,
distillation takes place.
Maturation takes place for several years in the Dunnage warehouse.
The whiskey is not cold-filtered and no artificial colors are added.
Awards:
- SILVER at World Whisky Awards 2022.
