One example of this is the Island Signature Yellow Snake Jamaican Amber Rum. The
name and packaging - a black bottle with a yellow label - are intended to pay
tribute to an endemic snake species in Jamaica. The rum is a blend of up to 20
different distillates from various distilleries in Jamaica. The maturation
period of these distillates varies between three and eight years, with storage
taking place in former bourbon barrels made from American white oak.
