This is a delicious, natural liqueur with a fruity yet sharp flavour and notes
of sweet blackcurrant. The blackcurrants are grown on White Heron's
Herefordshire farm and freshly picked for fermentation with champagne yeasts.
The juice is then fortified with vodka and a little sugar, resulting in a rich
and full bodied home-grown cassis. Perfect for mixing in with your favourite
sparkling wine.
Try it as...Hereford Mule
Pour 25ml of White Heron British cassis, 60ml of vodka, and 30ml of lime juice
into a highball glass over some ice. Top off with ginger beer and garnish with a
lime wedge and some fresh blackcurrants.
