A deep ruby robe gives way to red and black cherries, plum, bittersweet chocolate and red pepper. The medium bodied palate is refined, presenting dusty tannins balanced by just enough juicy acidity. Dried cherry, herbal spice, and forest floor notes frame a lengthy finish.

Food Pairing: Block Two has more weight but still the freshness characteristic of David's winemaking. A compelling wine that marries well to grilled meat such as sausages and can manage richer braises and stews particularly with tomato. Grape Variety: 65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc

Paradise Rescued is one of the smallest wineries among 7000+ in Bordeaux. We currently produce about 2000 bottles per year, increasing we hope to 3000 this vintage as our new Merlot vineyard comes into full production. Our wines are handcrafted in the vineyard and through the winery.

Bordeaux is the world's largest wine region producer of the Cabernet Franc grape, but less than 10 producers market a single varietal Cabernet Franc. Paradise Rescued is the leader of this small esteemed group.
