A favourite Châteauneuf-du-Pape producer of Robert Parker, Domaine Roger Sabon, established in 1952 produces a modern style of wine, with the Cuvée Les Olivets a stunning fruit forward Cuvée from vines over 50 years of age. A bright ruby colour. Toasted, furry, brothy and undergrowth nose. Ripe tannins are assorted with ripe black cherry on the palate. With previous vintages rated as high as 99 points by Robert Parker - it shows the remarkable consistency of Roger Sabon's wines.

A Châteauneuf-du-Pape property on top form, with a formidable range of impressive wines. The winemaking has been in the hands of the talented Didier Négron (whose wife is a Sabon) since 2004. Robert Parker has been a regular visitor and customer for over 20 years.
A family business founded in 1952 by Roger SABON, the estate today consists of a vineyard on the left bank of the Rhône of 18 hectares in appellation Châteauneuf du Pape, spread over 14 different plots. On the right bank, the vineyard comprises 12 hectares in the Lirac appellation, 6 hectares of Côtes du Rhône and 14 hectares of Vin de France.
