The Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, aged on the lees for 3 months, displays a pale yellow hue with hints of gold. It reveals a captivating bouquet of citrus fruits, including lemon and grapefruit, complemented by delightful floral notes on the finish.
Taste
After a 3 month maturing on the lees, the wine has a pale yellow colour tending towards gold. Tasting promises complexity with aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon or grapefruit. Floral notes appear at the end of the mouth.
About the Producer
Situated in Limeray (Amboise), at the heart of the Loire Valley, lies Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet. With a lineage spanning back to 1927, the estate has been passed down from father to son, and now finds its stewardship in the hands of Jean Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, best friends and the fourth generation, who jointly assumed control in 2015.
The vineyards of Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet extend across a diverse array of terroirs, showcasing a rich tapestry of local grape varieties. Among these are Chenin Blanc, Côt, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pineau d'Aunis.
