90 Points - Tim Atkin SA Wine Report. The 2015 Synchronicity may be considered a benchmark in its class, epitomising the unique terroir of Devon Valley in Stellenbosch. Meinert's flagship wine and the annual reflection of their prime Devon Valley site. Selecting the best batches of each of their varietals and blending according to the strengths of each vintage, seeking maximum complexity and balance. The 2015 follows on the great vintage of 2013 (no Synchronicity 2014 was made) and reflects the virtues of one of South Africas greatest vintages, offering layered red, black and purple fruit with subtle savoury nuances starting to develop. This dense and well-structured wine offers impeccable maturation potential, quite easily for the next 15 20 years.
Cabernet Sauvignon 35% / Merlot 35% / Pinotage 13% / Cabernet Franc 8.5% / Petit Verdot 8.5%
