This Multi Award Winning wine from Villa degli Olmi is made in the style of Amarone but from grapes outside of the official jurisdiction. Corvina & Rondinella are the dominate varieties, however, the blend also consists of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. Using the Appassimento method which consists of drying the grapes to concentrate the aromas, the wine is dark red in colour with a silky, unctuous texture and a pleasant aroma. This wine is soft with a lovely roundness and balanced persistence - Just sensational!

Layered and round in the mouth and beautifully balanced, young but pleasant tannins on the tongue, resulting in an endless finish. Already very good today, this wine will age beautifully for years to come!

Its previous owner, Mr. Soubrane was a carpenter who believed in felling his trees by moonlight, claiming this gave the best quality wood. His practice gave the property its name, meaning sing to the moon. The current owner is the world renowned José Sanfins, director at third growth property, Château Cantenac Brown and produces only 400 cases. The rounded tannins add a sexy backbone that leaves a wonderfully warm pleasing feeling on the palate that persists until you cant help yourself but to go back for more. The elegant Merlot gives the wine balance and perfectly complements the Cabernet.
