Vignoble De Boisseyt Crozes-Hermitage Rouge Horizon 2018
Type | Red |
Vintage | 2018 |
Alcohol | 14% |
Award Winning Vineyard - Two plots of Syrah vines from Chanos-Curson and Veaunes with an average age of over 20 years go into making this intense, silky and balanced Crozes-Hermitage. Drink now, or lay down to increase in complexity over the next 5-10 years. This wine reveals the characteristic nose of the Syrah grape variety, both crisp and mellow with hints of red berries ripened in the sun. An initial tender attack on the palate, soft tannins and a refreshing aftertaste revealing an overall charming wine. This red Crozes-Hermitage will go perfectly with a leg of lamb, a woodcock with ceps or simply with a great piece of beef.
About the Producer
The first mention of Domaine De Boisseyt 'Viniblio de Boissie' dates back to the 14th Century, however, it is more recently! after the French Revolution in 1797 that Domaine De Boisseyt is formed. Family run for six generations by the Chol family, and now the Decelle Family, Romain Decelle aims to convert the entire estate to organic viticulture and re-establish Domaine De Boisseyt as one of the great Northern Rhône producers alongside Guigal and Chapoutier.
