The way Absolut is made will not change, nor will the true vodka taste. The main ingredients of Absolut Vodka are water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it is protected from impurities. Winter wheat differs from other types: it is sown in autumn and harvested in the same season the following year. In this period it grows under the Swedish snow thus presenting a hard grain. In addition, the use of fertilizers is minimized.
