The hilly, historic Dão region is in the heart of Portugal, and is the home of Touriga Nacional, the most famous Port grape. In this Reserva blend there's also Tinta Roriz, the Portuguese name for Tempranillo, so celebrated for the wines of Rioja and Ribera del Duero in Spain. Then a real unknown, Alfrocheiro Preto, mainly grown in the Dão and bringing deep pigment. A real bundle of joy, and at a joyous price to match.
