Made in a port style, this wonderfully aromatic Angelica Sauvignon Blanc is aged 6 years and made entirely from our estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Aromas of white chocolate and caramelized pear are enhanced with notes of crème brulee and vanilla bean. The mouthfeel is luciuos, with good acidity to balance the sweetness from residual sugar. Marzapan and toasted nuts fill the palate followed by orange peel, lemon macaron, and honey suckle. The finish lingers for minutes with some higher tone, more complex aromatics of ripe fruit and delicate nuttiness.We believe that the best wines are born in the vineyard.
