Bodega Lagarde ́s history dates back to the early years of grapevine cultivation and the wine industry of Mendoza, in Argentina. Established in 1897 and managed by the Pescarmona family since 1970.
This 100% Torrontes comes from vineyards located in Cafayate, Salta and is a delightfully balanced wine between fruit flavours and acidity. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and no contact with wood make this wine fresh, bright, and easy to drink.
Type: White
Grape: Torrontes
Year: 2021
ABV: 13.5%
Region: Cafayate, Salta
Food: To be enjoyed as an aperitif or with seabass, salmon, trout, monkfish or chicken. It's true of most torrontes, and no exception here, these wines are THE best curry accompaniment. A lighter Thai curry wouldn't overwhelm the nose.
Tasting Notes: Gorgeous lime light green / yellow colour and refreshing. Unoaked, not overly dry but less heavy than other Torrontes that are oak aged. Strong floral and citrus nose and a smooth medium finish.
