Due to the unfavourable weather before harvest, specific measures were enforced to make sure the grapes would ripen properly. With strict selection accompanied by manual harvesting, the clusters of grapes were in top condition.
Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, lasting 19 days. After malolactic fermentation, a select number of wines were transferred in to 4.5 year American Oak Barrels, where they remained for 3 years, with a traditional racking every six months. In April 2018 the last blend was made, which was then bottled in June 2018.
