Domaine Baumann-Zirgel are situated in a small town in the wine growing region of Alsace in France called Mittelwihr. The family Baumann-Zirgel family cultivate 11 hectares of organic vineyards and produce high quality, hand crafted wines. Valerie and Benjamin have the belief that excellence can only be achieved with respect for the land, its terroir, its vines, its wine and the health of all of us. As a winemaking family it is imperative for them to protect the ecosystem and biodiversity and recreate environmental balance. All of Baumann Zirgels grapes are manually harvested in order to select the best whole bunch grapes to vinify naturally.

Baumann Zirgel Cremant DAlsace Brut is made from a blend of organic Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir grapes using the traditional (Champagne) method. The Cremant has fine flowing bubbles with notes of both citrus fruit and toast. In the mouth it will be crisp and dry. We also recommend using this Cremant to make a Kir Royal sparkling wine cocktail.

Pair with: Oysters and sushi. Serve chilled between 8 and 12 degrees centigrade.
