The Domaine de Bablut is located in the Coteaux de lAubance region, a wine-growing area located at the southern gates of Angers, south of the Loire river. Owned by the Daviau family since 1546, the vineyards cover an area of just over 50 hectares. The winemaker Chistophe Daviaus philosophy is the harmony between terroir and grape variety, where importance is placed on the vine being in harmony with the land where it grows and the environment where it flourishes. In 1993, a biodynamic test in the vineyard lead to the conversion to organic farming of the entire vineyard in 1996 out of respect for the plant, the terroir, the rivers, their staff and the consumer.
Domaine Bablut Rosé De Loire 19 is an organic Rosé wine made from Cabernet Franc and Grolleau Noir. The grapes are picked by hand and there has been no artificial sprays or chemicals used in the vineyard. Made in small quantities this is great value at £14.50. It is a deep pink colour in your glass, with dominant notes of redcurrant, cherry and violet. In the mouth it is fresh and full of vibrant red fruit and an ever so subtle hint of spice.
Pair this wine with cold or grilled white meats.
This is a standard 75cl bottle of certified organic Rosé which contains alcohol. By purchasing this product you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old, will recycle the packaging and care about the environment.
