An Austrian Merlot (red wine) from cellar master Erwin at Weingut Gmeinbock. Located in Weinviertal region in north eastern Austria, just north of Vienna. Gmeinboeck have been producing hand crafted wines for many generations just outside the small village of Poysdorf which has loess and clay soils with good minerality. They are well known for producing wines with distinctive character.
Predominantly aromas of ripe plums, black cherry and raspberry on the nose. Once decanted or aerated, in the mouth it has fresh black and red fruit with a subtle amount of black pepper and medium tannins to balance it out.
This is a standard 75cl bottle of red which contains alcohol. By purchasing this product you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old, will recycle the packaging and care about the environment.
