La Zerba is a certified organic vineyard located in the Piedmont wine region in Northern Italy. This is a DOC Barbera 2018 vintage made from 100% organic Barbera grapes. Often featured in some top wine publications, La Zerba hand pick all their grapes in small crates to ensure only the highest quality grapes are selected for vinification.

A medium to full bodied wine at 13% alcohol it pairs well with red meats and pasta dishes. This Barbera is well structured with a soft mouthfeel. It is ruby red in your glass with a vinous perfume combining well with primary fruits of cherry, blackberry, plum and hints of rose petals. I recommend pairing this wine with a slow cooked sausage casserole or beef lasagne and side green salad.
