A rich nutty sparkling wine with fine bubbles. The palate is dry with ripe fruit characters and a finish reminiscent of wild strawberries.
Simonnet-Febvre have produced sparkling wines since their foundation in 1840 and today they are the only company in Chablis to do so. The Crémant de Bourgogne Brut P100 Blanc de Noir is a dry white sparkling wine made by ensuring no colour is extracted from the red skinned Pinot Noir grapes, a style commonly known as Blanc de Noirs. It is produced using the traditional method with the second fermentation in bottle.
Crunchy strawberry and cranberry, with a positive hint of phenolic muscle on the backbone. Fine fruits and intensity of fresh flavours with a good length.
Neil Cammies, Western Mail & Wales Online, 14th December 2013, It's time to get 'fizzical'
...made from 100% Pinot Noir. Citrus fruit mingles with some crisp grapefruit and toasty minerality throughout with an elegant finish.
Ned Halley, Western Daily Press & Online, 7th December 2013, My favourite regional sparkler this year
It's a blanc de noir, all pinot noir and has exactly the creamy nousse you'd hope for from a 'cremant' sparkler. The alluring gold colour has the slightest hint of russet-pink and gives off a correspondingly autumnal sweet-apple aroma that contrasts with the crispness of the zesty fruit. It's not champagne, but it's definitely in the same quality league.
Jacqui Morley, Blackpool Gazette, 7th December 2013, Pop your cork with festive sparklers
...is a fine bubbled golden beauty which bagged Silver in this years Sommelier Wine Awards. Fruit blossom, honeyed notes flow into an orchard of apples, pears, edge of citrus, brioche base.
The Spectator, Jonathan Ray, 4th February 2017
'...its an absolute beauty! 100 per cent Pinot Noir, produced using the Champagne method, its from the only producer in Chablis to make fizz. I cant praise it enough; its creamy, toasty, fruity and absurdly tasty...'
