The estate was created in 2004 by a former winemaker from Mouton Rothschild and then bought in 2010 by Martial MIGNET, a pilot and passionate winemaker who continues the alliance of tradition and innovation on these 5 hectares of land in Saint Estèphe. Gravel, pebbles, sand, near the Gironde and back to the Atlantic... Welcome to Saint-Estèphe, the northern appellation of the Médoc, which is full of diversity and gives birth to intense and structured wines. Martial practices a reasoned agriculture and a very selective sorting. Classified among the smallest châteaux in the appellation, the estate produces only a limited number of bottles of its only great wine and claims each year, an elegance and quality worthy of its great neighbours. A blend of Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Petit Verdot 5%. A dark colour marked by Merlot with earthy hints. The nose is very clear, with vegetal and red fruit notes. The palate is balanced between woodiness, acidity and flesh. The tannins are melted, the texture is beautiful and the wine is balanced. Can be enjoyed easily until 2025 with a strong and powerful flavours taste red meat (lamb, pigeon, ostrich, sheep).
