The Austrian Empire Navy Rum does not come from Austria, as the name suggests, but from Great Britain. There this rum is produced by the Albert Michler Distillery. Already in 1863 this distillery was a supplier of spirits to the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy. This exceptional rum is made from sugar cane from Barbados and matures for up to 23 years in different types of barrels. This blend was created by the famous master blender Paul Caris in honour of the 100th anniversary.Tasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: fresh fruit, flowers, vanilla, coconut, chocolate notes.
