This great grappa is the result of the distillation of the best marcs from the best areas of Monferrato. It is distilled in small stills in a bain-marie and then matures in barrels that were previously used to age port wine, i.e. the famous Portuguese liqueur wine. The refinement or maturing takes place for 10 years in oak barrels.Tasting notes:Colour: Rich amber. Nose: Intense, clean, notes of vanilla, pears, apricots, caramel. Taste: Very intense, sweet, smooth, fruity. Finish: Long lasting.
