The brand Don Q has its name from the worldwide known novella "Don Quixote" by the author Miguel Cervantes. The Serralles family produces the rum according to old family tradition. This blend is first aged for 5 to 8 years in American white oak barrels and then finished for 4 to 6 weeks in Mancino Vecchio vermouth barrels, made from Italian oak. In short, double maturation, complex and smooth. Tasting notes:Colour: Strong gold. Nose: Fruity-sweet, vanilla, dried fruit, cinnamon, caramel. Taste: Notes of cherries, raisins, honey, dark chocolate, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting, hints of exotic fruits.
