In the southern Highlands lies the small distillery Edradour. The Edradour 22 Years Old Barolo Cask Finish was distilled in August 1999 and then matured for 13 years in bourbon casks. It is then transferred to Barolo Hogsheads and matures there for another 97 months. Distilled: August 09, 1999 Bottled: 26 August 2021 Barrel number: 830 & 832 Limited to 567 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: Dark mahogany. Nose: Fruity, rich, notes of red currant jam, maple syrup, cranberries. Taste: Notes of cinnamon, apples, cloves, almond puree, maple syrup. Finish: Long lasting.
