This "Flying Dutchman" is produced by the Zuidam family in the Netherlands. The fermentation lasts up to 2 weeks before distillation in copper stills. The Flying Dutchman Premium Dutch Rum No. 1 then matures for at least 1 year in small American oak barrels.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: plums, dates, sultanas, raisins, vanilla, nuts. Taste: Sherry, bread, vanilla, pimento, cinnamon, caramelised sugar, syrupy molasses. Finish: Long lasting, juicy, sherry.
