The Havana Club Tributo is the launch of an annual bottling by Havana and its umbrella company Pernod Ricard. A new Collection is released each year to coincide with the Cuban Habanos Cigar Festival. This bottling is a blend of previous releases from the Tributo series and another 100 components. After blending, the rum was still allowed to age in white port wine barrels from the Duoro Valley. The Duoro Valley is located in the north of Portugal and is the oldest wine-growing region in the world, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The premium rum has collectible value, which its packaging only emphasizes.
