This red wine has been around since the Biserno winery was founded in 1994, when the brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori started a new project and acquired the property, which covers about 50 hectares. The Tenuta Biserno Insoglio del Cinghiale Campo di Sasso IGT, being very early ripe, is harvested by hand already in September. Awards: - 92 points from Falstaff Tasting notes:Ruby red with purple highlights in the glass. The nose is very intense violets, fresh tobacco, cherries and cassis. Powerful on the palate, with clearly defined tannins. Long lasting and lively finish. Grape varieties: 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 39% Syrah, 14% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot, 8% Others. Aging: French barriques (40%) and steel tanks (60%). Soil: Clayey, sandy. Closure: Natural cork. Acidity: 4,74 g/l. Drinking temperature: 17-19°C. The wine harmonizes very well with grilled food and spicy pasta.
