The distillery Casa San Matias was founded in 1886. For the production are used 100% natural ingredients. Pueblo Viejo Anejo matures for 18 months in American oak barrels. The distillery is located in the highlands of Jalisco - arguably the best agave growing region. Awards: - Silver medal in 2018 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Tasting notes:Color: Light gold. Nose: Sweet vanilla, toasted almonds, notes of chamomile, ripe oranges, peaches. Taste: Sweet oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, toasted almonds.
