The Bernheim Distillery was founded by W.L. Weller. Today, however, the Bernheim distillery in Louisville belongs to the Heaven Hill company. The Rebel Yell Bourbon got its name from the fact that it was actually only supposed to be offered in the south of the USA. This Rebel Yell Whiskey is exclusively intended for the European market and matures for at least 4 years in American oak barrels. The exceptional finish is in cognac barrels for 6 months.Tasting notes:Colour: Bright amber. Nose: Dark berries, sweet honey, vanilla, caramel, sultanas, oak. Taste: Dried fruits, plums, sultanas, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting, warm.
