Ocho' means 'eight', this number is very important for Tequila Ocho.
Because it takes about eight years until the agaves are ripe before they are harvested and you need about eight kilograms of agaves for one liter of Ocho Tequila.
Tequila Ocho Añejo is made from 100% blue agave and matures for at least 12 months in former American whisky casks.
