The winery Terra d'Aligi is a family-run business with a long tradition. The grapes for the Tatone come from the Val di Sangro region in central Italy. The vineyards are located between the Majella mountain massif in Abruzzo and the sea, they cover 109 hectares. The climate is Mediterranean, this region is known for strong temperature fluctuations. The name "Tatone" translates as a term of endearment for essential figures within the traditional family culture, such as the grandfather. These characteristics are reflected in the red wine.
