"Older is better" is the whisky equivalent of "more is more" however, a no-age statement (NAS) whisky is not a new phenomenon. Especially the whiskies of Macallan enjoy greater popularity, and so the distillery had to find a way to cover the demand, but as with the Macallan Rare Cask already the name reveals, it is a real rarity and is especially popular in collector circles. In the production of the Macallan Rare Cask 2022 was worked with the famous violinist Nicola Benedetti. Her creativity and skill are reflected in the intense flavors of the exquisite whiskey. The Macallan Rare Cask matures in hand-selected oak casks. Tasting notes:Color: mahogany. Nose: Rich, vanilla notes, juicy apples, lemons, oranges. Palate: Intense, raisin notes, vanilla, chocolate, citrus flavors. Finish: Long lasting, rich, velvety.
