The Temple Bar distillery is a family business which is run by the third generation. In 1840 Tom Cleary's grandfather founded a liquor and wine shop in Ireland. The Temple Bar shop was the cornerstone of the distillery. The Temple Bar Irish Whisky was traditionally distilled in copper pot stills. The whisky is aged for 12 years in oak barrels.
