Göttelmann 2021 Chardonnay is a round, full bodied, dry Pinot style wine. In the
nose and on the palate, this wine shows buttery flavours. It has warm aroma of
walnut and even a hint of melon. It has a long lasting and rich finish.
The vines that produced the grapes for this wine are over 30 years old. Picked
in October, the yield was small.
The crushed grapes were left in contact with the skins for 24 hours before being
pressed. The juice was fermented in oak casks.
Food recommendation: This chardonnay pairs well with veal, filet of Wellington
and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce.
Alcohol: 13,5% vol.
Res. sugar: 3,2 g/l
