Kochan & Platz's Riesling Sekt Brut is a fine, fresh and fruity sparkling wine
with aromas of citrus, peach and apricot. It has a low residual sweetness, fine
perlage and pleasant acidity.

Vineyard: The Kochan & Platz winery is located in Lieser and their vineyards
have special terrior unique to the Mosel region. The winery's deep respect for
tradition and work that is in harmony with nature guarantees excellent
qualities.


Vinification: The essence of this sparkling wine in the mousseux - the fine
bubbles of carbonic acid that create a second fermentation. The fermentation
takes place in the wine's original bottles in a cool cellar. The storage time on
the yeast is determined by  Sekt classification rules and requires at least nine
months for bottle fermentation. In this case however, the wine was fermented for
16 months.
