Founded in 1918 by Manoel Pocas Junior, producing a range of Ports. Grapes are sourced from three Quintas (vineyards). One, Quinta Das Quartas, was the first purchased by Pocas Junior and is also the site of the winery. 1985 was an excellent vintage for Port. Drinking well now, but no rush.
Typical blend, Touring Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Touring Franca, Tinta Cao. 70cl bottles. Abv 20%
Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level base of neck.
