The Santerelli family are one of the leading lights in Championing top quality Frascati from the old volcanic hills overlooking Rome.
Their Frascati DOCG regularly wins the top Tre Bicchieri awards and this vintage is no exception.
Their vines average 25 years of age split between Malvasia di Lazio 70%, with Trebbiano Giallo, Bellone and Bombino fermented and aged on its lees for 7-9 months. In the glass there's attractive flowers and white fruits on the nose and a complex palate that opens up as you drink, pears, almonds,zesty lemons, herbs and hints of ripe peach and a long mineral saline finish.
