Delicious, delicate, fresh chardonnay based sparkler for an old property in the Loire valley.
Château de Presle is run buy Anne-Sophie Penet and her husband Frédéric Meurgey,and has been in her family since 1685. Their elegant Crémant de Loire is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Arbois, an old Loire grape which is seldom seen, which gives a creaminess to the fresh Chardonnay.
This excellent Method Traditionelle sparkler is a well priced alternative to a Blanc de Blanc Champagne. Looks smart too.
