La Crema is one of the many winery projects started by the late Jess Jackson. Wine maker Mellisa Stackhouse made a wonderfully ripe fruited Pinot Noir from vines in the cool Russian River Valley sub region in California's Sonama Valley. Black cherry and ripe strawberries on the nose with a very attractive soft almost creamy, velvety palate.
