Only 727 bottles available with each bottle individually numbered. The Craigellachie distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Arbelour, Banffshire. It was built in 1891 and is at the centre of the Speyside whicsky producing area of Scotland. The name Craigellachie means rocky hill and refers to the cliff that overlooks the Spey across from the Mcallan distillery. Whisky matured in sherry butts is something quite special. The wood that once held sherry adds to both the flavour and the aroma of the whisky maturing in the cask. Usually crafted from European or American oak and hold around 500 litres.
