It's a miracle that you're here, that you've chosen these bottles, that you're reading these words. We often dream so big that we forget about the wonderful things happening around us every day.

A surprise trip, that song that took you back to your childhood, or the strange coincidence of finding love... In the end, miracles are just extraordinary events and life is full of them.

It all depends on you. You can keep waiting for that big event that might change your life, or you can toast the here and now, and make the miracle happen yourself.

Warm and Intense ripe red fruit aromas like Cherry, along with delicate Caramel notes. It is a really elegant wine with full body but soft tannins, delicious taste and well balanced with long finish, a wine to enjoy alone or with the best company.

After selecting the best grapes from our oldest vines, a pre-fermetation maceration at low temperature (3ºC) is carried out to extract the best aromas and properties, after the fermentation at 26ºC the wine goes to barrels of French oak for the Malolactic fermentaion and to be aged for 12 months
About the Winery

We are heirs to a long wine tradition throughout 4 generations of family business. Since 1885 we have been dedicated to viticulture and especially to the production of great wines.

Our Estate Hoya de Cadenas is located in the heart of the Utiel-Requena appellation. The winery owns 500 hectares of vineyards spread over different áreas, It is an oenological paradise located only 90 km from the city of Valencia. The fact that it is located on the slopes of the Sierra de la Bicuerca allows it to host the noblest local and international varietals.

The estate enjoys a particular microclimate in which the thermal oscillations between day and night give the grapes their own characteristics and facilitate the accumulation of much appreciated polyphenols. The Estate is located at 800 m above sea level and enjoys a Mediterranean-Continental climate, perfect for production of premium Wines. The limestone-clay soils of the area are ideal for high quality viticulture.

Hoya de Cadenas has royal origins dating back to the 17th century. This ancestral home was assigned the Right of Asylum, which was rarely given to civil buildings, being almost always granted to military and religious stays. To record this privilege, the front of the house was adorned with heavy chains and was soon known as the House of Chains. As time went by, this name was extended to all the possessions of the Fernandez Córdova family. This is how the Finca, which belonged to this family, acquired the name of Casa de la Cadenas and the valley where it is located began to be known as the valley of chains or the Hoya de Cadenas.

The underground barrel room can hold up to 15,000 selected oak barrels which, with an area of 4,000 m2, represents the most important cava in the Valencian Community, 70% American oak and 30% French oak.
