Ruby red in colour with abundant aromas of fresh fruit such as plums and cherries, complimented by a subtle note of vanilla. The palate is juicy, medium bodied and very well balanced.

The Estate Collection Reserva range represents the purest expressions of each grape variety and are characterised by vibrant aromas and flavours. The Merlot is a blend of 98% Merlot, 2% Malbec all from the Colchagua Valley.

Viu Manent was founded in 1935 and are one of the longest established producers in the region in the renowned Colchagua Valley and cover 260 hectares over 3 locations: San Carlos, La Capilla and El Olivar. Viu Manent craft wines from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier for whites and Malbec, Syrah, Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for reds. They are highly respected and particularly known for the high quality of their Malbecs. Operating internationally their wines have been recognised in many major international wine competitions. In 2010 they were named the most awarded Chilean winery in a survey of gold medals and trophies awarded in major international competitions by Vitis magazine.
