The wine is a lively yellow colour with a green glow. A striking cool-climate style, the wine has distinctive flavours of white peach, ripe delicious apple and hints of elder flowers. The fruity palate is beautifully balanced with a long lasting mouthfeel and freshness due to a zesty acidity which all translate a great drinkability. The acidity adds wonderful length creating a wine with great ageing potential.

Food Pairing: Best enjoyed in the company of poultry dishes, veal and a wide range of fish dishes.

Technical: Rigorous hand selection in the vinyard, Careful de-stemming; the grapes were pressed gently and then fermented in cooled stainless steel tanks to retain the clean fruit character, the wine stays a while on the yeast before filling
About The Vineyard

The WEINRIEDER estate is situated in the centre of the Weinviertel region, the largest and most interesting wine-growing area in Austria. Its situation is ideally suited for wine growing for high-quality wines. Being this far north, there is immense focus on the entire growing cycle and really pushing the extremes in terms of harvest while preserving the quality of the fruit. The wines embody an incredible fidelity in terms of showing vintage instead of relying on adjustments or trends. WEINRIEDER work as close as possible with nature (producing own compost, using sheep in the vineyard, no herbicides, etc.).
