The Movia estate dates back to 1700, passing into the hands of the Kristančič family with a wedding in 1820. The estate extends over 22 ha of land, about half of which lies on the Italian side of the Goriška Brda (hills of Gorizia) Collio. Movia is more than a mere wine brand and the name of an estate on the borderland between Slovenia (Goriška Brda) and Italy (DOC Collio). Movia is a way of life, life in all its glory, purity of nature and sincerity of the author. From gentle and light classics, through a range of mature wines with good aging potential. And when you enter the cellar and taste the wines with Aleš Kristančič, you will taste magic!Winery: Movia Wine

Region: Gorizia Hills (Goriška brda)
Variety: Chardonnay, Ribolla
Category: Sparkling wines

Puro starts off where other champagnes end their lives and go on to age. A Puro turned upside-down can live forever, as its permanently present yeasts are capable of keeping it alive for years. A medium orange color. Brioche on the nose, well matured, tertiary, yet still plenty of freshness. Bone-dry, very homogeneous on the palate, the base wine was partly matured in fresh wood as there are gentle herbal notes present. A very complex, long-lasting, excellent sparkling wine.
