Petrač Winery was the first in Zagorje to introduce red Bordeaux grape varieties, with which it has had considerable success at international and local competitions. All the characteristics that define Zagorje terroir allow Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to retain their vital acids even in late autumn, giving the grapes the opportunity to ripen completely and evenly. These God-given conditions require yield reduction, achieved through green harvest.
